World Bank raises Russia’s 2021 GDP growth outlook to 4.3%
MOSCOW, Oct 6 (PRIME) -- The World Bank has increased its forecast on Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2021 to 4.3% from 3.2%, the bank said in a report on Europe and Central Asia on Wednesday.
The forecast for economic growth in Russia in 2022 was lowered to 2.8% from 3.2% and in 2023 to 1.8% from 2.3%.
Russia’s Economic Development Ministry expects GDP to grow 4.2% in 2021 and 3% in 2022–2024.
